We welcome this group of highly experienced individuals from diverse backgrounds who will help cultivate and develop Wellesley Asset Management’s promising future. Wellesley Asset Management will meet regularly with the Board to further understand market trends and methods to implement new systems, technologies, and processes. We remain steadfast in our goal to build upon and improve client service and our investment acumen. As we grow beyond the $3B Regulatory Asset under Management mark and increase employee headcount to well over thirty-five, we look forward to the next thirty years of success as a firm and servicing our clients.

Michael DeAddio

mike_deaddioMichael DeAddio is the Chief Operating Officer of Dark Forest Capital Management, a CT based quantitative hedge fund. Prior to Dark Forest, Michael was President and COO of WorldQuant, responsible for global day-to-day operations, execution of strategic business initiatives and capital development initiatives. Michael has had a long and industrious career in financial services, serving in a variety of C-Suite positions including Chief Technology Officer (CTO) at Silver Point Capital and Managing Director at Citadel. Michael received his bachelor’s and master’s degree in electrical engineering and computer science from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT). We look forward to welcoming his technical expertise and background to help us continue to innovate as a firm.

Rob Fleischman

robert_fleischmanRob Fleischman is a successful technology entrepreneur and has deep knowledge in the areas of Internet Infrastructure, distributed systems, artificial intelligence, security, and large-scale server development. Rob currently chairs the investment group, Tiger 21, where he helps Ultra-High Net Worth (UHNW) investors, families, and financial advisors discuss investments, family wealth issues, and philanthropy. Rob founded multiple start-ups, and held senior engineering positions at large technology and financial companies (BBN, Fidelity, Highwind, Software.com, Openwave, Sandvine, Xerocole, Akamai, and others). He holds multiple patents, invented and helped build news, messaging and DNS technologies that currently process trillions of transactions daily on the Internet.

Ronald Diamond

ron_diamondRonald Diamond is a longtime investor and entrepreneur and is the Chairman of Diamond Wealth. Ronald represents over 100 family offices ranging in size from $250 million to $30 billion. Diamond Wealth invests in private markets (private equity, venture capital, and real estate). In addition, Diamond Wealth has divisions which focus on philanthropy, wealth transfer, investment banking, social impact, and governance. Ronald is on the Advisory Board of the Stanford University Global Family Office Initiative and served as former Chairman of the Advisory Board at Stanford University for the Disruptive Technology and Digital Cities Program. He serves on the Advisory Board of ten privately held companies. Deeply committed to giving back, Ronald is an active philanthropist and civic leader. He serves as the Chairman of the Advisory Board of JSC and currently sits on the Board at the JCC and JUF.

Jonathan Straub

Jonathan_straubJonathan Straub, JD, CAIA is a Founder and Principal of AdvicePeriod, a $5 billion boutique RIA based in Los Angeles, CA. Prior to launching AdvicePeriod, Jon spent the previous decade at Convergent Wealth Advisors, building it into one of the nation’s first $10 billion RIA firms and leading its post-acquisition integration strategy with City National Bank. With executive leadership experience across wealth advisory, FinTech, and corporate strategy, Jon’s primary focus is building AdvicePeriod’s team of employees, partners, and systems into the integrated professional services firm of the future. In addition to advising Wellesley Asset Management, Jon serves as an Advisory Board Member to Betterment for Advisors, and is a venture investor to Just Invest, LLC (acquired by Vanguard), Advizr (acquired by Orion), Quovo (acquired by Plaid), Altruist, and Pathwater.
